Day By Day Itinerary

Arrival at Entebbe airport where you will be welcomed by a penny Africa safari guide from our company and transferred to your accommodation in Entebbe.

Stay: Gorilla Neighbour Guest House BB

After breakfast, we shall calmly transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park as we pass the crater lakes areas and cross the equator, beautiful land scape with small lakes and rolling hills.

Stay: Songbird Rest Camp BB

The day begins early when we start with a morning game drive and head to the mating grounds of the Uganda Kobs. We search for the lions, elephants, buffalos, and many other wildlife species in their natural habitat before returning for lunch at the lodge. In the afternoon, we shall proceed for a boat cruise on Kazinga Channel where you will view many water animals as well as birds.

Stay: Songbird Rest Camp BB

In the morning you will be hiking off the beaten track, through the jungle in search of chimpanzees. Once you find them, it will be a fascinating experience as you watch them play, feed and swing through the trees, which is highly entertaining.

We have a morning game drive in the program, during which you will have chance to view the tree-climbing lions and many other species.

Later in the evening, you will arrive at the park and check in as you enjoy the traditional home steads of the local people in Bwindi.

Stay: Ruhija rest camp BB

This is the highlight of the safari, have briefing early enough and after proceed to the park to search for the mountain gorillas. Expect to walk a long distance in steep and muddy conditions, sometimes with rain overhead. But it will definitely be worthwhile as
you observe them closely while they eat, play and rest. A unique and unforgettable
experience.

Stay: Byoona Amagara BB

After breakfast we drive 4-5 hours to Lake Mburo National Park. The park has a variety of animals such as leopard, zebra, impala, buffalo and over 300 species of birds, many of which can be seen on the afternoon game drive. Horseback safaris and boat trips on the lake are also available.

Stay: Leopard Rest Camp BB

You can take an optional walking safari to get closer to the animals and it is the best way to watch birds. Afterwards we drive back to Entebbe.

Begin your journey by venturing into the heart of the Mabamba Wetland, a sprawling
ecosystem teeming with life and natural beauty.

Accompanied by experienced local guides, you’ll navigate through the tranquil waters, surrounded by towering papyrus reeds and lush vegetation. As you glide silently along the waterways, keep your eyes peeled for signs of the elusive Shoebill Bird.

At the day’s end, you’ll be dropped off at the airport in time for your scheduled flight and hope we have whetted your appetite for more African safari adventures.
