This 5-Day Gorilla and White Water Rafting Backpacking Safari combines Uganda's best adventure sports with its most beautiful animals. Itineraries
Day 1
Arrival at Entebbe International Airport and transfer to Kampala
Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport you will meet your guide and be transferred to your booked accommodation in Kampala for the night. Depending on the traffic situation of the day, you may pass through the city center for a brief city tour (not included in the cost and optional) before proceeding to your hotel.

Day 2
Transfer to Jinja for white water rafting and return to Kampala
We’ll take an early morning drive to Jinja for this Ugandan adventure experience. The journey will take you through Mabira forest - the tropical rainforest in central Uganda - as well as tea and sugarcane plantations plus several roadside markets arriving at Kalagala Falls. Get ready, because it’s time for your full or half-day whiite water rafting adventure on the Nile. After rafting, you will then return back to Kampala.

Day 3
From Kampala, transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
Early in the morning, we’ll head toward Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park, which is located in South Western Uganda. We’ll enjoy a stopover at the equator for an informative talk, photography and some fun experiments before proceeding to Mbarara town for lunch.
We’ll continue on after lunch through the rolling green hills of banana and tea plantations to arrive in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park in the evening.
Drive time: 8-9 hours.

Day 4
Mountain Gorilla trekking
Today is the day! We’ll have an early morning breakfast, then grab our packed lunch and report to the Park headquarters at 7:45 am for registration. Here, we’ll join other trackers in a briefing about the dos and the don’ts during your Uganda gorilla trekking safari.
You will trek through thick creepers and undergrowth with your guides to find a family of gorillas, which can take anywhere from half-an-hour to three quarters of the day. The steeply forested landscape is incredibly dense but crisscrossed by numerous animal trails allowing access to tourists. It is an extraordinary feeling being with these beautiful yet endangered creatures, and it’s one you’ll remember for a lifetime.

Day 5
Transfer back to Entebbe International Airport for departure
Early morning we’ll have breakfast then start the long drive back to Entebbe International Airport for your departure. Lunch is taken enroute then we’ll continue for your late evening flight.
