If there’s one thing that makes experiencing the animals of Uganda even more special, it’s being able to do so in the environments they live in. With our backpacks on, we’ll travel, stay, and sleep in the same types of places as our animal friends, making this 10-day adventure spectacular.

Itineraries
Day 1
Arrival in Entebbe
Arrival at Entebbe Airport. Irrespective of the arrival time, the next trip safari guide will be there waiting for you. Pick up and proceed to your accommodation.

Day 2
Entebbe - Kibale Forest
After breakfast, we’ll drive to Kibale Forest. Kibale Forest is a spectacular jungle, with 13 primate species! Including chimps, baboons, black and white colobus, red colobus, gray-cheeked mangabey and L’Hoest monkey.
You can also enjoy a walk around the community in the afternoon.

Day 3
Kibale Forest
Today’s adventure is all about chimpanzee tracking. Whether you choose to enjoy it in the morning or in the afternoon, it’s also possible to upgrade this 1-hour tracking to a Chimpanzee Habituation Experience for a total of 4 hours tracking.
If you’re interested in primates and birds and willing to make another walk, we’ll go on a community walk in the Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary as well, where we can visit the local people and the iconic crater lakes.

Day 4
Kibale Forest - Queen Elizabeth National Park
Today we’ll head over to Queen Elizabeth National Park. On our way, we pass the equator, so we can stop and take photos. We’ll arrive in the afternoon in time for a game drive.
Queen Elizabeth National Park is one of the best places in Uganda to see lions. Expect to see elephants, lions, many hippos, crocodiles, buffaloes and maybe leopards.

Day 5
Queen Elizabeth National Park
It’s time for an early morning game drive in Queen Elizabeth National Park! Plus, if you’re up for even more animals, we can try out the experimental Lion Tracking. Then we’ll take a boat trip on the Kazinga Channel in the afternoon, one of the highlights of Uganda and has the highest concentration of hippos in the world.

Day 6
Queen Elizabeth National Park - Ishasha
After breakfast, we drive through Queen Elizabeth National Park to the Ishasha sector in the South. It is also possible to go for a chimp tracking in Kyambura Gorge or Kalinzu Forest reserve, or make a forest walk and visit the bat caves in Maramagambo.
In the afternoon, we’ll take a game drive in Ishasha in search of the tree-climbing lions. Here we have 4 prides of lions that climb the trees which is nique in the world! The other attraction of Ishasha is the Topis, as they are not found anywhere else in this National Park.

Day 7
Ishasha - Bwindi Impenetrable National Forest
We’ll take another early morning game drive in Ishasha to see the tree-climbing lions. Afterwards we head to Bwindi Impenetrable National Forest. On our way, we pass through interesting villages and have some breathtaking views of the mountains.
Bwindi Impenetrable is a unique jungle with many monkey species. It’s also one of the two places in the world where you can find Mountain Gorillas!

Day 8
Bwindi Impenetrable National Forest
The moment you’ve been waiting for - Gorilla tracking!
We’ll take off on an early morning hike with your ranger to search for one of the world's most interesting and endangered animals, the Mountain Gorilla! Though the whole activity may take up to 8 hours, you will spend one hour with one of our closest relatives for an experience you will never forget.

Day 9
Bwindi Impenetrable National Forest - Lake Mburo National Park
After breakfast, we’ll head to Lake Mburo National Park. Here you’ll have a game drive or an optional boat trip on the lake in the afternoon. In the evening, we’ll go for a night game drive with a high chance of seeing leopards.
Lake Mburo is one of the two national parks with zebras and the only national park with impalas in Uganda. There are no elephants and lions, so walking safaris are possible.

Day 10
Lake Mburo National Park - Entebbe
For your last day, you’ll enjoy one last game drive or game walk in the morning. On our way to Entebbe, we can make a stopover at the Equator for photos. We’ll then say our goodbyes as you head off to catch your departure flight.
